7/29/2016 0 Comments Fletcher's NICU StoryThe NICU was our refuge—our home away from home where our family's babies gain weight and learn to eat since they didn't bake long enough in Mama's tummy to be programmed with that knowledge naturally. I feel like the experience can be misconstrued, and I wanted to give the efforts and hours here a worthy tribute. Someday my kids might ask me what it was like, or what goes on behind those doors they were only allowed to cross if we were lucky enough to be past flu season and if they were old enough.

7/7/2016 0 Comments Cherry PickingL has been wanting to pick cherries ever since I brought it up one day, so we looked up a U-pick fruit farm in Payson, Although we followed directions and found the place right before they would have closed for the day, it didn't seem to be a working cherry farm! We backtracked and followed signs reading "CHERRIES!" to a different place called Stanton Cherry Farm. What a great find! They had buckets and ladders, ample parking closeby, and delicious Ranier Cherries for $1 per pound.
7/4/2016 0 Comments Sugarhouse FireworksHappy Independence Day! The whole family got together for a day at the water park, then headed to Sugarhouse Park to hang out under a canopy playing games and trying some new food truck tastes before ending the night with an awesome fireworks show.
Our second year coming to Sugarhouse Park we've learned a few tips for an even better next year! 7/2/2016 0 Comments Balloon Festival Day 2We loved it so much, we came back with more family! And we learned a few things about hot air balloons that made them seem so impressive! Did you know they can only control up or down? The fact that they can still maneuver enough to hit targets and use the wind currents to move sideways is amazing!
